Description

The Ultra-A8 is an light weight energy efficient robust, rugged tablet, running on an Intel Atom 1.6 GHz processor, and has 512kB of Cache memory.

The tablet has 1GB of DDR RAM Memory, it also has 256 MB of video memory. (DVMT)

The Ultra-A8 tablet is easy and comfortable to carry with you, it has a passive cooling concept without ventilation-slit and without fan. It also has an USB client connector for easy connection to other PCs. It has an slim housing with especially plain surface, protected all around. It is also washable, fall-safe and maintenance-free.

It has also different mounting points, so you can for example mount it in a car. Optionally, you can choose for the cameramodule. When installed, you can use the camera to take pictures or for video conferentions.

For connectivity, it has an WiFi Chip that can connect to 802.11 b/n networks, besides that the Ultra-A8 also has an Bluetooth V2.0 Chip (+ EDR Class 2)

The tablet is running on Windows XP, optionally you can choose for WIndows XP Tablet Edition or Windows XP Embedded.
