Regular rugged 'phones' are quite large and very tough. The Nautiz X1 breaks through these barriers, but is still very rugged.</p>

The Nautiz X1 Smartphone runs on Android 4.0 (also known as Ice Cream Sandwich) or Windows Embedded Handheld 6.5. With its small size and lightweight of only 180 grams, it's  in a class with other populair smartphones. Only difference is that the Nautiz X1 is rugged and won't inmidiately break when you accidently drop it. Built for the toughest conditions, the Nautiz X1 meets stringent MIL-STD-810G military standards for withstanding humidity, vibration, drops and extreme temperatures. The Nautiz X1 is also IP67 certified, which means that it is fully waterproof, and impervious to sand and dust.</p>

The Nautiz X1 runs on an 1GHz Dual-Core processor, and has 512 MB of RAM, which stands for top-notch petformance in the field. For file storage, the Nautiz X1 has 2GB of onboard memory, this can be expanded with an MicroSD card.</p>

The 4-inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen is sunlight-readable and scratch-resistant, the resolution of the display is 800×480. On the rear, the Nautiz X1 has an 5 MegaPixel camera with autofocus and LED flash, which allows you to take photos even in dark environments.</p>

When calling, the Nautiz X1 provides reliable voice and high-speed data transmission worldwide, over GSM or CDMA networks. It also has an built-in WiFi chip which supports 802.11 B/G/N WiFi networks. This is very helpful when you need to access the internet and when no regular cellular network is available. The Nautiz X1 has an standard 1530 mAh Li-Ion battery, which offers extended operation time, even on long days away from a power source. When you're on the road, embedded GPS, G-Sensor and E-compass keep you on the right track.</p>
