The 21,5 inch FullHD Industrial PanelPC is a wide-screen industrial PC with resistive touch screen. It's powered by an Intel i5 processor, and has an QM57 PCH Chipset, also from Intel. This is lowpower performance chipset.
This PanelPC target automation control, indistrial automation, factory automation, digital signage, wireless automation and gaming application involves data acquistion, database management, distributed process control, access control and field I/O control.
The FullHD Industrial PanelPC has support for two 2.5 inch Harddisk's, which can be connected via SATA or IDE connection. RAID 0 or RAID 1 is supported. For connecting a display there are two possibilities, VGA and DVI port. The highest supported resolution is 1920 x 1080. The PanelPC can work with a maximum of 8GB DDR3 Memory.
To connect to the outside world the Industrial PanelPC 2 Gigabit ethernet ports, this allows you to have a high-speed connectivity. When you want to connect extra hardware, but it is not supported you can add 2 PCI Extension cards, the Industrial PanelPC has 2 PCI Extension slots to allow you to add your own hardware and/or connect your own products.
If the resistive touch screen isn't enough, you can also connect a mouse and keyboard. This can be done via 4 USB ports, or via the 2 PS/2 ports. PS/2 allows you to connect a mouse or keyboard to the Industrial PowerPC. In case you have an older mouse/keyboard that requires an Serial port, this is no problem. The Industrial PowerPC also has 2 Serial ports to connect older mouse/keyboards, or other hardware like printers.
