It also helps the intergrated GPS to find the exact location of the people in an emergency situation (IF GPS coverage is held). When an emergency call is made by mobile phones, the current position data from the GPS vai GPRS (62,3kbit/s) to special localization software sent form the server. Thus emergency situations quickly and reliably identified and targeted assistance can be provided. (requiers optional software)
