Featuring the latest version of Windows CE 6.0 and breakthrough touchscreen technology, these sunlight-viewable tablets work for the most challenging business environments. Fully rugged and conforming to MIL STD 810F for vibration, dust and water sealed to IP67 and engineered to handle multiple 4-foot drops, the M8930 and M8940 tablets continue to work flawlessly both inside the four walls and outside in the field – even in the harshest of environments.
Both tablets run on a Marvell PXA300 624 MHz processor with 128 MB SDRAM and ample memory for storing data locally, including a 512MB SSD (Solid State Drive) and an expansion SD slot supporting up to 16GB. The tablets are powered by dual full-shift Li-ion batteries; one internal and a second that can be hot-swapped as needed.
Available in a large 7" full screen (M8930) or equipped with a 64-key QWERTY alpha-numeric keypad (M8940), these rugged computers offer the operational advantages of having a large screen display while preserving portability.
