Description of Flir I-series infrared cameras

Flir i40, i50 and i60 portable, easy-to-use, battery-powered infrared cameras

The Flir I-series is a portable, battery-powered range of infrared cameras, which weigh approximately 600 grams. These easy-to-use cameras have been designed for one-handed 'point, shoot and detect' operation, which are still comfortable to use after a full day. With a battery life of up to five hours, and batteries that can be swapped out at any time, the Flir I-series infrared cameras are ideal for fault-finding and troubleshooting.

Packed inside the Flir I-series infrared camera's robust outer casing lies an excellent infrared detector, which allows the user to capture clear and sharp infrared images. This key feature is enhanced further by excellent thermal sensitivity, and a large and bright 3.5" LCD display.

Complimenting the Flir I-series' infrared capabilities is a digital camera. By taking a visual image alongside the thermal image, analysis and reporting of possible problems becomes easier and quicker than ever before. This digital camera is also used in conjunction with the Picture-in-Picture mode, which enables visual and infrared images to be overlaid.

All of the images we take are then saved onto a removable microSD card as radiometric JPEG files, and we can store up to 1,000 images at any time. Using the supplied PC software, which is known as ThermaCAM QuickReport, we can then download these visual and infrared images from the camera, analyse them further and report out findings in just a few minutes.

Additional software called ThermaCAM Reporter 8 is also available separately, and integrates directly into Microsoft Word to provide full flexibility over the design and content of our reports.
Please refer to the brochures for a complete specification, as well as an overview of the typical uses of this equipment in industry all around the world.
