The Algiz 8 Rugged UMPC is designed for harsh enviroments, the Algiz 8 delivers maximum<br />
performance to mobile workforces. Algiz 8 is a tablet PC that meets<br />
rigorous military standard for drops, vibration, and condensation. With<br />
an IP65 rating it is protected against dust and water. It handles extreme<br />
temperatures, from –20°C to +50°C. Whatever the conditions are,<br />
the Algiz 8 Rugged UMPC  will do the job.<br />
<br />
Algiz 8 rugged U MPC  features an ATOM 1.1 GHz Processor, 60 GB hard drive and<br />
1 GB RAM. The Microsoft Windows XP Professional operating system<br />
runs all the applications well known to PC users, including Calendar,<br />
E-mail, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.<br />
<br />
To provide reliable communication in the field, Algiz 8 features<br />
integrated Bluetooth that connects easily to other peripheral devices.<br />
The 802.11a/b/g wireless provides access to local area network, e-mail<br />
and the Internet. GPRS or CDMA cellular capability, as well as high<br />
sensitivity GPS are optional.<br />
<br />
For the ultimate user experience Algiz is built compact and lightweight. To<br />
supply an ergonomic and secure grip Rugged Algiz 8 also features an integrated<br />
hand strap and several other carrying options. The 8.4” outdoor SVGA<br />
TFT resistive touchscreen is sunlight viewable. For even better outdoor<br />
visibility there is an optional of sunlight viewable 1100 nit screen. A hot<br />
swappable battery lets you continue working all day without recharging.,</p>
