The rugged ET-65, suitable for applications at temperatures ranging from -20 °C to +70 °C, and certified for hazardous areas, Zone 1, 2, 21, 22, is the best basic model for machine-level operation in production areas, onboard ships and in tank farms.
The transflective, 114 x 64 mm (4.5 x 2.5") LCD monochrome display with LED backlight technology ensures good readability, both indoors and outdoors. With 16 function keys, 4 softkeys, and 23 alphanumeric and system keys, the ET-65 is individually configurable to perform specific automation tasks.
Display and keyboard are designed to meet the IP65 standard: a polyester film protects against dirt, dust and aggressive production atmospheres. The display module is available either as control panel module, or can be mounted into a plastic or stainless steel enclosure.
The ET-65 operator interface communicates with PLC over different protocols: serial / MPI / Modbus TCP / Profibus DP.
The SPSPlusWIN software ensures fast and cost-effective project engineering.
Accessories can be tailored to meet specific application requirements, ranging from intrinsically safe Mifare and Wiegand card readers for access control in tank farms, Ex-i barcode scanners for dosage control, up to field and connection cables, and the SPSPlusWIN software.
The ET-65 is also available as a complete package, including power supply, transmission unit and cabling.
